Install locally for now

The extension works on YouTube pages. Send one video from its popup, or choose Import browser tabs in TmixY to collect several open YouTube videos. Both work in the same browser profile.

  1. Extract the ZIPKeep the extracted folder somewhere permanent, such as Documents → TmixY-extension.
  2. Open Chrome’s extension settings
    chrome://extensions
    Chrome blocks website links to this address. Paste it into the address bar, then turn on Developer mode.
  3. Choose Load unpackedSelect the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
  4. Return to TmixY, then pin the extensionExisting TmixY tabs reconnect automatically. Use Chrome’s puzzle-piece menu to pin TmixY, then open a YouTube video and click its icon.

Ready when you areYour current mix is kept. If TmixY is closed, it opens in the background. If it asks you to sign in, your selected video waits until the app is ready.

Small permissionsThe extension reads the YouTube tab you click from, or lists open YouTube video tabs when you request an import. It connects only to this TmixY site. It does not request Google access or make YouTube API calls.

Easy to updateReplace the files in the same extension folder, then click Reload on its card in chrome://extensions. Allow the updated permissions if Chrome asks, then return to TmixY. Existing tabs reconnect automatically.
